Flower Festival 1988
Between 28th and 30th May 1988 Stratton Methodist Church presented a Festival of Flowers celebrating the conversation of the founder of Methodism, John Wesley 250 years previous.
Below is the programme listing all the displays and who has arranged and sponsored them.
The Flower Festival Committee of Lower Stratton Methodist Church would like to thank all those who have been so willing to be part of this project by giving their practical support and assistance in a wide range of services.
The Committee would particularly like to mention Mr Tom Gardner for giving his time so willingly in scripting the programme, and relevant Title Cards and Quotes.
Also thanks to BMS Car and Coach Hire of Swindon Road, for donating all the transport which is always so vital on these occasions.

Tea was available in the Schoolroom under the direction of Mrs M Tye. The programme sold for £1.00 including tea.
