Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer,

Words that show we care,

Our Father, who art in heaven, above,

Shower us, with daily love,

Hallowed be Your name,

Heaven and earth, become the same,

Your kingdom come,

Pray for freedom,

Your will be done, on earth,

New life for all, our re-birth,

As it is in heaven, give us this day,

New and effective ways to pray,

Our daily bread,

Worshipfully led,

And forgive us our sins,

Grace and mercy begins,

As we forgive those,

Light to the world shows,

Who sin against us, wherever,

Not to seek revenge, help us endeavour,

And lead us not into temptation,

Lord of heaven, heal our nation,

But deliver us from evil; save,

Unconditional love, spread like a wave,

For the kingdom is Yours,

Where no-one abhors,

The power and the glory,

Telling the Christian story,

For ever and ever,

Your love ceases never,

Amen,

Born-again.

The Lord’s Prayer,

Make a world that is fair,

Our Father, who art in heaven, show,

Us how to pray, so that we know,

Hallowed be Your name; praise,

Follow You, in all Your ways,

Your kingdom come, now, here,

Peace and friendship, draw near,

Your will be done,

Forgiveness, through Christ Your Son,

On earth as it is in heaven; keep,

Jesus the Good Shepherd, to watch over His sheep,

Give us this day,

Strength to follow Your way,

Our daily bread, Your gift,

Freely given; a spiritual lift,

And forgive us our sins,

Compassion and empathy begins,

As we forgive,

Show us how to live,

Those who sin against us today,

Show humility when we pray,

And lead us not into temptation and greed,

Show kindness, to all those peoples in need,

But deliver us from evil, to shine,

Embracing us with love divine,

For the kingdom is Yours,

A welcoming place, with open doors,

The power,

Protecting us, hour by hour,

And the glory, forever,

Worship You, pray together,

For ever and ever, infinity,

God of all time, healing divinity,

Amen; God sets the prisoner free,

Showing His love for eternity.

The Lord’s Prayer,

Our faith to share,

Our Father, who art in heaven, teach,

Show how far, Your kingdom can reach,

Hallowed be,

All who see,

Your name, raised,

Exalted, praised,

Your kingdom come,

New life has begun,

Your will,

Heaven on earth fulfil,

Be done, on earth, as it is in heaven, today,

Faithfully wait and continue to pray,

Give us this day, and always,

Courage to follow You, all of our days,

Our daily bread, given with grace,

Given for free, to the human race,

And forgive us our sins,

Justice and equality begins,

As we forgive, we ask You,

To teach us what we need to do,

Those who sin against us; and,

Who never give but only demand,

And lead us not into temptation,

Consider the error of our ways, in contemplation,

But deliver us from evil, so we can discover,

Fellowship and community with each other,

For the kingdom is Yours, to grow,

May blessings set, our hearts aglow,

The power of God’s outstretched hand,

And the glory for us, which He has planned,

For ever and ever,

Our anchor in stormy weather,

Amen, bringing us safe to shore,

We are the seeds in His garner store.

The Lord’s Prayer,

Pastoral care,

Our Father, the Lord,

Brings harmony, accord,

Who art in heaven; discover,

How to show love for one another,

Hallowed be Your name,

When all else feels lost, Your love will remain,

Your kingdom come, on earth today,

To the path of hope, show us the way,

Your will be done, not by bread alone,

Let Your kingdom in our world, forever be known,

On earth as it is in heaven; learn,

Treat others with compassion; show concern,

Give us this day, the Promised Land,

So that Your kingdom on earth, will thrive and expand,

Our daily bread,

Spiritually fed,

And forgive us our sins,

Wisdom and understanding begins,

As we forgive those,

Our humanity shows,

For all who sin against us; heal,

With humane actions, forgiveness becomes real,

And lead us not into temptation and discord,

Do all in love, to honour the Lord,

But deliver us from evil, and bad behaviour,

Help us to know, Jesus as our Saviour,

For the kingdom is Yours, lifted higher,

Set us ablaze; refiner’s fire,

The power and the glory, an end to all fears,

When heaven on earth finally appears,

For ever and ever,

God and us, eternally together,

Amen, so be it, it is so,

God is love, everyone should know.
